Remember bonding around a projection screen or family films when you were a kid? (Oh, you were so cute!) It was likely one of the few times everyone was gathered in the same place, at the same time, visiting with one another. If you have a family, a digital camera and PowerPoint, you can do the same! Kids are raving narcissists; they love hearing stories about themselves. If your kids are older, they can put the slideshows together! An unintended perk of this unique family bonding opportunity is it can be used as a tool to motivate your children (blackmail is such an ugly word!). Sneak in a few baby bathtub or potty-training pics and threaten to invite the kids' friends over if they don't do their chores!
