This holiday complex is situated on the fine, white sands of the Playa Bavaro, in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic. A link to the public transport network can be found around 1.5 km away, while it is about 4 km to the little beach village of El Cortecito, which is worth visiting for a shopping trip. The nearest larger town is Higuey, about 50 km away. Transfer time to Punta Cana airport, which offers good connections to the international transport network, is around 30 minutes.The modern and tasteful outer appearance of the hotel is also reflected in the interior. The rooms, decorated in a Caribbean colonial style, are ideally suited to every visitor's needs. Almost all the rooms have access to a french balcony , from which guests can enjoy great views over the surrounding area. An en suite bathroom with a hairdryer as well as a king size or two queen bed is also provided in every room as standard, as is a direct dial telephone, a min1 refrigerator, and a hire safe. Individually adjustable air conditioning rounds up the room fittings. The hotel offers plenty of sports and relaxation options. For example, as an alternative to a visit to the beach, it is possible to relax in the hotel grounds that feature a swimming pool with a separate children's area, which is surrounded by a large sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Sports enthusiasts are well catered for with aerobics, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, and tennis all on offer. Moreover, on the beach guests may take advantage of the opportunity to try out a variety of water sports including sailing and windsurfing (charges apply for some of the sporting activities). There is also a covered show theatre, where an entertainment programme is offered in the evenings, providing additional variety and amusement for guests. Guests may select their breakfast, lunch, and dinner from varied buffets offered. It is also possible to take dinner à la carte. Guests are able to book an all-inclusive stay. The sprawling complex is subdivided into 3 mini-complexes, and comprises a total of 652 rooms spread across several Bungalow and buildings and an outdoor complex. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with a 24-hour reception area, a currency exchange area and a cloakroom. Further amenities here include a selection of shops, a hairdressing salon, a public Internet wireless, room and laundry services (for an additional fee), nightclubs, show theatre and 7 restaurants. It is also possible to relax in one of the 7 bars with a range of treats after an eventful day of sightseeing. There is a kids' club, and parking facilities are offered to those arriving by car.
